Σύμφωνα με ρεπορτάζ του Variety οι Bel Powley (Masters of the Air, A Small Light, The Morning Show) και Daniel Rigby (I, Jack Wright, Renegade Nell, Tom Jones) θα έχουν ρόλους στη σειρά Harry Potter και θα ερμηνεύσουν τους Petunia και Vernon Dursley αντίστοιχα.
Οι John Lithgow, Janet McTeer, Paapa Essiedu, Nick Frost, Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton, Alastair Stout και Bertie Carvel είναι μέχρι στιγμής στο καστ. Τα γυρίσματα θα ξεκινήσουν το μέσα στο καλοκαίρι και θα γίνουν στα Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.
Η Francesca Gardiner (Succession) θα είναι showrunner και ειδικός παραγωγός και ο Mark Mylod θα σκηνοθετήσει άγνωστο αριθμό επεισοδίων. Οι Warner Bros. Television και Bronte Film and TV θα βρίσκονται στην παραγωγή και οι J.K Rowling, Neil Blair, Ruth Kenley-Letts και David Heyman θα έχουν χρέη ειδικού παραγωγού.
